Duties
- Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and high standards of food service
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes to deliver consistently outstanding dishes aligned with menu specifications
- Oversee food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards
- Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization
- Support menu planning, catering, and banquet services to meet diverse guest needs and special events
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team environment
- Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requirements and ensure inclusive menu options
Qualifications
- Experience in fine dining establishments with strong culinary skills and a passion for excellence
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams effectively in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory management, and food handling best practices
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
