About the Family
A warm and welcoming family in Prosper is seeking a reliable, engaging after-school nanny for their 7-year-old daughter. While two younger siblings attend daycare, your primary focus will be providing attentive care, engaging conversation, and fun, age-appropriate activities for their school-aged child.
The family is looking for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children, encourages creativity and learning, and can help maintain a smooth after-school routine.
Nanny Responsibilities
- Pick up and supervise a 7-year-old after school
- Engage in age-appropriate games, activities, and conversation
- Encourage positive behavior and serve as a supportive role model
- Prepare occasional snacks or light meals
- Help keep children's spaces and activity areas clean and organized
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
- Communicate with parents about the child's day as needed
Nanny Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Two childcare references from previous families or employers
- Ability to pass a background check
