Nagle is a family owned trucking company. Nagle has been in business since 1989 and our home office is in Walbridge, OH, where we have a full-service terminal. We are currently hiring for a full time non-CDL local driving position. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage routes effectively. This is a full time position with no guarantee as to what schedule you may be working so schedule flexibility is imperative.
Responsibilities
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Deliver goods in safe and effective manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.
Requirements
- Must possess valid operator driver's license
- License must be valid for a minimum of 4 years
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have acceptable driving record
- No at-fault accidents in the last 12 months
- No more than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- No OVIs or reckless driving in the last 5 years
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to safely control commercial box trucks in compliance with local, state & federal laws
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical abilities test, DOT physical and driving test
- Must be able to work up tp 12 hour shifts
What we Offer
- $22/hour
- Daily home time
- During the interview process, a member of the operations team will discuss the schedule. Schedule will certainly be night shift of 6pm-6am (2 different possibilities of Sun-Tues & every other Wednesday OR every other Wednesday & Thurs-Sat)
