About Solana Tanning
Solana Tanning is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Tanning Consultant to join our Caledonia team!
As a Tanning Consultant, you’ll be one of the faces of Solana—creating a welcoming experience for every client while helping them find the services and products that best fit their goals. This is a customer service and sales-focused position where your personality, product knowledge, and ability to connect with clients are just as important as keeping the salon clean and running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome every client with a friendly, positive attitude and provide an exceptional experience
- Help clients choose the tanning, wellness, and sunless services that best fit their needs
- Educate clients on our services, products, equipment, and memberships
- Confidently recommend and sell products, services, upgrades, and memberships
- Process payments and handle cash accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting salon throughout your shift
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize tanning beds, rooms, and common areas according to Solana standards
- Answer phones, respond to client questions, and resolve concerns professionally
- Restock products and assist with inventory organization
- Learn and stay knowledgeable about Solana's services, products, and equipment
- Follow all salon policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Work independently while staying productive and attentive during your shift
What We’re Looking For
- 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine interest in working with people
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with sales and making product/service recommendations
- Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision
- Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to cleanliness and organization
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
- Interest in tanning, beauty, wellness, or the salon industry is a plus
