If you're self-motivated and an analytical thinker, join our corporate mortgage team as a Capital Markets Analyst. Working from company headquarters, you will help ensure we have the mortgage banking products we need to serve our new home-buying customers.
This position is based on-site at our Corporate Office.
Primary Responsibilities

Utilize secondary market reports to manage rate locks, forward commitments, loan fallout and delivery

Analyze the loan pipeline and ensure management is provided with accurate secondary report data

Manage mortgage rate sheets, ensuring staff has updated rates as markets change

Assist with rate price questions, extensions and product changes

Use secondary marketing reports to create daily commitments to sell closed loans to investors

Create and construct financial models to aid in analysis and decision-making

Maintain and develop efficiencies within the secondary group and stay abreast of regulatory, technology and system changes
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in finance/business related field OR 3+ years experience in mortgage industry

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) or a demonstrated interest in automation, process improvement, and financial modeling is a plus

Able to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain an attention to detail

Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
