EduSolutionsKC is actively seeking dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. This role involves providing school-based speech and language evaluation and therapy services to children ages 3-21 with speech and language disorders and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities-
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide direct therapy to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication disorders and strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with physicians, teachers, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay current with developments in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development.
- Provide training and support to other staff members and students as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Missouri and/or Kansas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), CFs are welcome to apply.
- Experience working with pediatric populations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and use web based technology for communication, scheduling, documentation and billing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
- Knowledge of augmentative alternative communication devices is preferred.
- Previous experience in school, healthcare or clinic setting.
Experience
- A degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field is required.
- Experience working with pediatric to age 21 populations is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care practices is essential.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and school-based therapy services is a plus.
- Strong assessment skills to evaluate patient needs effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
