Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics and experience with small engine repair, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engines, i.e. Welders, Generators and other industrial construction equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair on various equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding equipment functionality and repairs, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each piece of equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for moving equipment and parts.
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and problem-solving.
- Looking for someone with prior experience as a mechanic that can hit the ground running
