Overview
We are looking for a registered nurse who loves working with women who are managing perimenopause, men and women looking to feel better and more vibrant in their daily lives. Job entails managing the primary health of individuals in an underserved community. Our medical team provides health and wellness, aesthetics, IV therapy, weight loss management, and we are looking to include hormone therapy and direct care for our peri to post menopausal patients as well as wellness and aesthetics clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiological evaluations.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state laws, ensuring safe drug administration and proper documentation.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as fillers, injectables, IV insertions, and sterile processing techniques.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and specimen processing.
- Provide patient education on disease management, medication use, nutrition, and health coaching to promote wellness and adherence to treatment protocols.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with valid certification from an accredited program. MCO is on staff currently.
- Demonstrated experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or aesthetics clinics.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with procedures such as suturing, dermal fillers, IV therapy, and blood labs.
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care
- Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring the confidentiality of all medical records.
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
