Folsom Motor Works is looking for an Automotive Technician to join our team in Folsom, CA.
We are a family-owned shop that has been serving the community since the late 1990s. We work on a wide variety of vehicles, mainly common makes and models, and are looking for someone dependable who wants to grow with a solid independent repair shop.
This position is ideal for someone with some automotive experience or training who is looking to continue learning in a busy, professional environment.
Position Details:
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday only
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hourly pay with flat rate bonus opportunities
- Pay: $33–$45 per hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair services
- Oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and basic repairs
- Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs
- Maintain clean and accurate repair orders
- Work efficiently with the team to keep workflow moving
- Diagnostic and drivability experience is a plus
Requirements:
- 3 years+ experience or training preferred
- Own tools required
- Valid driver’s license
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and grow
