Reports to: Maple Kids Zone Coordinator

Work together with a team of caregivers, providing interactive experience to children in a safe environment. Make an impact on the community and the lives of our members.

Essential Functions:

Be available during a portion of operating hours, 8AM-7:30PM.

Interact with children and monitor safety.

Perform daily childcare operations.

Be comfortable addressing parent, child, and staff issues.

Share responsibility for the safety and care of up to 35 children.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Address members and their children with kindness and care.

As required by Michigan law, report any suspected incidence of child abuse or neglect.

Qualifications:

Experience with children aged birth to 8 is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

Required CPR and First Aid certifications must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Physical Demands:

Must be able to physically participate in activities with children.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Some light cleaning is required.
