We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a Permanent 5-axis CNC Machinist. This role is pivotal for our company's success in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities:
1. Set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
2. Interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to produce high-precision parts.
3. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes and improve product quality.
6. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
7. Provide training and guidance to junior machinists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Participate in production planning meetings, contributing to the development of efficient schedules and workflow.
9. Continuously monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
10. Document and report on completed work, maintaining accurate records of production data.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with 4 or 5-axis CNC machines.
2. Proficient in CNC set up and operation, with a strong understanding of machine tooling and processes.
3. Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
4. Demonstrated ability to produce high-precision parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to contributing to a positive workplace culture.
7. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in CNC machining or related field is preferred.
9. Certification as a CNC Machinist from an accredited institution is a plus.
10. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods.
