InSync is currently seeking a reliable and patient-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team in Clackamas, OR. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service experience in a medical setting who is passionate about providing excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office
- Experience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plans
- Proficiency with Epic systems
- Strong ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, both in person and over the phone
- Greet patients and assist with questions, concerns, and issue resolution
- Check patients in and out, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments
- Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information in Epic
- Schedule appointments and complete patient registrations
- Process and track referrals and insurance authorizations
- Manage patient and provider correspondence
- Explain policies, procedures, and services clearly to patients
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace following department guidelines
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Experience:
- Recent outpatient or medical office: 2 years (Required)
- EPIC: 1 year (Required)
