Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in the upkeep of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitation to meet health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests in a friendly manner.
Skills
- Proficiency in floor care techniques and custodial practices.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is preferred.
- Background in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
