We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and early intervention strategies.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs, utilizing knowledge of special education practices.
- Foster a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development and address any concerns regarding their progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- Incorporate Early Learning principles into the curriculum when appropriate, promoting independence and self-directed learning.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting is essential.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and classroom management strategies is highly desirable.
- Experience in toddler care or working with students requiring special education services is a plus.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques and tutoring strategies for young learners is beneficial.
