Windwave is seeking a Fiber Splicer to support fiber network construction and deployment projects. This role is responsible for performing high-quality fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure network performance and reliability.
This is a field-based position working closely with construction and operations teams on active projects.
What You’ll Do:

Perform fiber optic splicing (single fiber and ribbon).

Conduct testing using OTDR, power meters, and related equipment.

Read and interpret splice diagrams, prints, and network designs.

Troubleshoot fiber issues and resolve signal loss or connectivity problems.

Prepare and maintain accurate splice documentation and test results.

Install, prep, and organize fiber in closures, cabinets, and panels.

Maintain a safe and organized job site.

Coordinate with crews and supervisors to meet project timelines.
What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of fiber splicing experience.

Experience with OTDR testing and fiber troubleshooting.

Ability to read and interpret fiber prints and splice diagrams.

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

Valid driver’s license with clean record

Work Environment:
Field-based role working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Travel may be required depending on project needs. Overtime available based on project schedules.
