Country View Family Farms is seeking an experienced full-time Feed Mill Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving the equipment and systems that keep our feed mill operating safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has a well-rounded maintenance background with experience in industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, manufacturing, production or similar environments. This individual should be comfortable working on mechanical and electrical systems while utilizing strong troubleshooting skills to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production efficiency.
Shift: 2nd shift, 2P-10:30PM (Mon-Friday), Full Time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical systems.
- Welding and metal fabrication experience
- Working knowledge of PLCs, automated equipment, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, VFDs, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to diagnose problems, prioritize repairs, and work independently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, welding equipment, and power tools.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, technical school, trade school, or vocational training preferred, not required.
- 3-5+ years of maintenance experience
- Candidates with demonstrated industrial maintenance experience are encouraged to apply regardless of formal education.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, catwalks, and work at varying heights.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and work in confined spaces as needed.
- Comfortable working in a feed manufacturing environment that may include dust, noise, changing temperatures, and agricultural materials while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
