JOB OVERVIEW
We're looking for a creative, results-driven Social Video Creator to capture the people, products, and behind-the-scenes moments that make Van Otis Chocolates unique. The ideal candidate has a passion for short-form video, knows how to create content that captures attention and connects with audiences, and has a portfolio that demonstrates creativity and results.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to help grow an established brand through authentic, engaging social media content.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, create, edit, and publish engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other social platforms. Minimum of 2 engaging videos per week.
- Capture behind-the-scenes production, products, employees, retail experiences, classes, tours, and seasonal events.
- Research social media trends and develop creative ideas that align with the Van Otis brand.
- Organize and upload raw footage and finished content to the company's shared Dropbox.
Required Qualifications
- A proven track record of creating videos that generate meaningful views, engagement, audience growth, or other measurable results.
- Experience planning, filming, editing, and publishing short-form video content.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and current social media trends.
- Strong visual storytelling, composition, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience growing personal or business social media accounts.
- Familiarity with Tiktok Studio, Reels, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Experience working with consumer brands, retail, food, or hospitality.
- Understanding of social media analytics and content performance.
