Responsibilities

- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to guarantee safety and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation practices to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within restaurants or the food industry
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to plan menus creatively while managing ingredient inventory effectively
- Excellent understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with catering services and serving large groups is desirable
- Demonstrated kitchen experience with a focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork
