Duties
- Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
- Apply and maintain advanced nail enhancements including gel extensions, acrylics, and intricate nail designs
- Provide complementary beauty treatments like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction
- Educate clients on nail care routines, color theory for perfect polish application, and aftercare tips to promote healthy nails
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and beauty tools to enhance client experience and increase sales
- Stay current with beauty trends in hair styling, hair extensions, barbering techniques, dermabrasion, and other esthetic services to offer comprehensive beauty solutions
Experience
- Proven experience as a manicurist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and enhancement techniques
- Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades for their skin tone and style preferences
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols in a salon setting to ensure health safety standards are met consistently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships
- Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques to promote products confidently and ethically
- Basic understanding of cosmetology principles including skin health, body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
