What You’ll Do
As a Primary Care Physician with PCMA, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in long-term care facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing chronic and acute medical conditions
- Performing comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Reviewing and updating medical histories and treatment plans
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Identifying patient care needs and recommending appropriate treatment strategies
- Accurately documenting patient encounters and care plans in EMR systems
- Promoting quality outcomes and continuity of care for senior patients
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Interal Medicine or Family Medicine license in state of practice
- Current DEA or ability to obtain DEA licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Passion for geriatric and long-term care medicine
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
