About the Role
The Rawal Institute (TRI, Inc.) seeks a full-time or part-time Licensed Medical Aesthetician to join our physician-led aesthetic surgery and hair restoration practice in Madison, Wisconsin. This role works directly alongside Dr. Rawal as a supervised clinical team member, delivering expert aesthetic services, educating patients on skincare and treatments, and assisting during in-office procedures.
All aesthetic services are performed under the direction and supervision of Dr. Rawal. This position does not involve independent treatment decision-making or commission-based compensation. The ideal candidate is a skilled, patient-focused professional who values working within a structured, physician-led clinical environment and takes pride in delivering a luxurious yet medically sound patient experience.
Essential Job Duties
- Perform physician-directed aesthetic treatments, including maintenance laser procedures, as requested by Dr. Rawal
- Assist Dr. Rawal during in-office aesthetic and surgical procedures
- Educate patients on skincare regimens, treatment options, and product recommendations, in accordance with physician-established protocols
- Conduct skin consultations and assessments; document findings accurately in Nextech EMR
- Maintain treatment rooms and aesthetic equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
- Support clinical staff and front office during high-volume periods (e.g., patient check-in, rooming patients, answering phones during lunch coverage)
- Contribute to practice social media content related to aesthetic services and skincare education, as directed by Dr. Rawal
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Aesthetician License — required for hire
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical spa or physician-supervised aesthetic setting
- Demonstrated ability to work within established clinical protocols and under physician supervision
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
- Proficiency with computer systems; Nextech EMR experience preferred
- Excellent patient communication skills — warm, professional, and reassuring
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with regular clinical interruptions
Required Service Competencies
Candidates must demonstrate competency in the following at hire:
- HydraFacial
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- Dermaplaning
- Skin health analysis and skincare consultation
Preferred Service Experience
The following are preferred. Training may be available for qualified candidates with strong foundational skills:
- Laser hair removal
- IPL Photofacial
- Radiofrequency microneedling
- Coolsculpting
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 – $28.00/hr, commensurate with experience and service qualifications

Important: Supervision & Scope
This role operates exclusively under physician protocol. Aesthetic treatment decisions are made by Dr. Rawal. Independent patient management and commission-based compensation are not part of this position.
