We are looking for an occupational therapy practitioner (COTA) or occupational therapist to help us provide occupational therapy services to our families in Sandy Springs. Currently we need someone who can see kiddos at our clinic in the afternoons typically 1:00 - 6:30. We encourage applicants to apply even if their availability doesn't perfectly align with the listed hours. Looking to hire as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Implement individual treatment plans
- Develop fun & novel activities to meet client’s individual goals
- Communicate with parents during/after therapy sessions to provide summary of what was worked on during the session & to share any progress updates or recommendations for what to work on outside of therapy
- Contribute to ongoing assessments & update treatment plans
- Contribute to the development and implementation of groups including gross motor, fine motor, and sensory groups
Must Haves
- Georgia licensure
- Afternoon availability
- Reliable way to get to work
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Experience working with children
