Key Responsibilities
- Provide services, resources, and referrals to low-income individuals and families experiencing crisis situations
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations and service providers
- Maintain accurate client records, data entry, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and community partners
- Support outreach efforts that promote awareness of available programs and services
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of, and genuine interest in, serving low-income families and individuals
Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Inc. (UDMO) is seeking a self-motivated, energetic Outreach Specialist to join our Webster County Outreach office in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This position plays a vital role in supporting low-income families during times of crisis while strengthening partnerships within the community.

- Full Time: 32 hours per week (Monday –Thursday); 40 hours/week: October-December
