**MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN FAST PACED, HIGH-VOLUME KITCHEN***
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working in a high-volume/fast paced kitchen. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
**MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN RESTAURANT KITCHENS**
Duties
- 6 DAY WORK WEEK(40 to 45 hours per week)
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS (EXCEPT CHRISTMAS AND THANKSGIVING DAY)
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in menu planning and development as needed, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when required.
Experience

- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry, preferably in breakfast/fast paced dining establishments.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment.
