Job Overview
At Extreme Screen Prints, every order begins in Receiving. The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, organizing, and staging incoming garments, production supplies, and materials to support daily production.
This position serves as one of the most important quality checkpoints in our operation. Every day you'll receive shipments from major apparel suppliers, verify garment counts, organize incoming inventory, stage customer orders for production, stock production supplies, and identify discrepancies before they impact production.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, and creating order from complexity. Every shipment is different, requiring you to think critically, prioritize work, and organize dozens of customer orders while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Receiving is more than unloading boxes, it's about ensuring every production team has the right garments, in the right quantities, at the right time. Your attention to detail directly impacts production efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the success of every order we produce.
Responsibilities
Receiving & Verification
- Receive and unload incoming garment and supply deliveries.
- Verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and work orders.
- Count garments by size, color, and style to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
Production Staging
- Review the production schedule and prioritize incoming work.
- Pull garments for scheduled production orders.
- Prepare production carts with garments and work orders.
- Stage jobs in production order to support efficient workflow.
Documentation & Communication
- Record shortages, overages, substitutions, and damaged goods.
- Update Printavo and other required systems.
- Save packing slips and communicate inventory issues promptly.
- Follow established procedures for vendor stock discrepancies.
Organization & Supplies
- Organize backstock garments for future production.
- Receive and stock production supplies in designated locations.
- Maintain clean, organized receiving and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory/backstock counts as needed.
Experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or receiving experience is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions
This position is performed in an active manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Employees should expect:
- Daily deliveries ranging from 50–100+ cartons requiring unloading, sorting, and staging.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repositioning of garment boxes throughout the day.
- Regular use of pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment.
- Moderate to high noise levels and varying temperatures.
- A fast-paced environment requiring both physical endurance and sustained concentration.
Success in this role requires the ability to remain focused while tracking multiple customer orders, verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, and organizing work according to the production schedule. It is both physically demanding and mentally engaging.
