We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the Fire Alarm Installer position to join our award-winning team.
Standard Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
Position Summary:
The Fire Alarm Installer installs, maintains, and troubleshoots specific systems ensuring compliance with safety and code standards. They work with blueprints, diagnose issues, and collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality, efficient service.
Experience
- Proven experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, or service technician roles.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading—including electrical blueprints—and system schematics.
- Experience with CAD software for system design or layout is preferred.
- Construction inspection experience related to fire protection or low-voltage systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of building code compliance related to fire sprinkler fitting and low-voltage wiring.
- Familiarity with engineering troubleshooting techniques for complex alarm or sprinkler systems.
- Electrical experience including reading electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams is required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
- Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
