Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, air conditioning units, and other essential equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to restore equipment functionality promptly.
- Conduct appliance repairs, HVAC/R servicing, and refrigeration maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovations or upgrades to ensure all systems meet safety and operational standards.
- Lead small maintenance projects, coordinate repairs with vendors when necessary, and document all work performed accurately.
- Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, schematics, and system updates for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools used in equipment troubleshooting.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair diverse equipment types including air conditioning units and kitchen appliances.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid certifications related to HVAC/R or appliance repair are preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates.
