We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to support an established Elder Law attorney in Tacoma, WA. Position Details
- Monday-Friday
- Flexible schedule between 7:00 AM-6:00 PM (8-hour shift)
- $28.00 per hour

- Opportunity to grow into a Paralegal

- Work closely alongside an attorney specializing in Elder Law
Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, email management, and coordinating daily priorities.
- Maintain highly organized physical and electronic legal files while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, court personnel, and outside agencies.
- Assist with preparing and filing legal documents while tracking important deadlines.
- Prepare materials for client meetings, hearings, and legal proceedings.
- Answer phones, respond to client inquiries, and help create an exceptional client experience.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, payment processing, and tracking billable time.
- Keep projects moving by anticipating needs, following through on action items, and helping the attorney stay organized and efficient.
Qualifications
- Previous Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, or Legal Assistant experience preferred.
- Legal experience is not required. We are willing to train someone with exceptional executive administrative experience.
- Experience supporting executives or professionals in a fast-paced office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Smokeball and vLex is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent follow-through.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
