The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations in an AS9100-certified precision machining environment, leading CNC machinists, operators, and production staff to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role is responsible for production scheduling, workforce leadership, process improvement, and maintaining compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements. The supervisor partners with engineering, quality, planning, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues, drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, improve KPIs (OEE, labor efficiency, scrap, and on-time delivery), and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a precision machining environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory or production leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, production scheduling, and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience in AS9100 and/or aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, JobBOSS, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, OSHA safety standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
