Bachelor’s degree in human services/related field and experience in the fields of aging and volunteerism including administration, program management and supervision. The position involves regularly traveling the service area and requires a valid driver’s license in addition to being computer literate.

Prepares and manages grant applications and identifies new grantors.
- Supervises, trains, evaluates, and recommends hiring of RSVP staff.
- Develops and manages budgets and ensures completion of financial and management reports by funding sources.
- Manages volunteer services and programs.
- Develops and maintains partnership agreements with nonprofit and health care placement sites.
- Collaborates and strategizes relationships with community organizations, agencies, and legislators to address critical community needs and accomplishments.
- Ensures formal recognition of community partners and volunteers.
- Facilitates advisory meetings and membership meetings of Arrowhead RSVP and the Northland Volunteer Center.
- Initiates community events to promote volunteerism including Volunteer Week activities and awards.
- Represents the Agency at meetings and public events concerning volunteerism and aging issues.
