Your expertise will ensure students receive the critical speech and language services they need to succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in school settings is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education teams
- Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Document student progress, maintain records, and report to parents, teachers, and administrators
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding speech and language development
- Participate in meetings and contribute insights to multi-disciplinary teams
