Responsibilities

- Oversee medical records management, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, including medical staff and physicians, to support acute care and general practice needs
- Ensure accurate patient documentation and data management
- Supervise healthcare staff management, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and limited HR functions
- Ensure adherence to healthcare practice management standards and health regulation policies while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Skills
- Experience in medical office management with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong supervisory skills with proven ability to manage teams effectively in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of healthcare regulation policies including HIPAA compliance.
- Competence in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes
- Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service expertise to foster positive patient interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for administrative support and reporting purposes
- Understanding of managed care concepts, utilization management, and hospital or acute care experience enhances effectiveness in this role
