Spectra - Tech Inc., a family-owned Grinding Machine Shop, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to join our team in Hanover Park, IL.

Responsibilities:
- Oversees the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure customer, regulatory and other requirements are being met
- Administers the Corrective Action and Preventive Action system
- Oversees the incoming verification activities, including the use of Certificates of Conformance/Analysis or inspection/test date sufficient for effective quality control on inbound items.
- Administers the calibration/verification program for measurement devices
- Ensures we maintain our ISO 9001 certification, including registrar interface
- Performs QC equipment maintenance consistent with meeting product and ISO specifications
- Provides hands-on controls over Nonconforming Product and related disposition/controls
- Provides input to management on jobs where in-process or other problems indicate that tooling, fixturing, or other error-proofing measures are needed
- Administer the CAR program
- Oversees the controlled documentation system consistent with ISO 9001, customer, and internal requirements
- Launches CARs for any internal audit non-conformances and re-audits/verifies as needed
- Administers data collection and analysis, primarily as related to internal audit results, management review preparation, and trending in customer complaints/CARs.
- Provides other QMS support as management might request.
- Conduct daily customer part measurements and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in relevant field
- PPAP Generation - Control Plans, FMEA's, Process Flow, PSW's
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Minitab, Gage Trak
- Experience using various inspection equipment including but not limited to: Micrometers, Calipers, Optical Comparators
