Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
- Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) or Endovascular Operating Room (EVOR) experience required.
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- Current ARRT (Radiography) Certification required.
- Current AHA BLS Certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience required.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
- Training or experience in vascular angiography, coronary angiography, and special procedures preferred.
- Previous cardiac catheterization laboratory experience preferred.
- Perform a variety of Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures while assisting physicians during minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Prepare procedure rooms, sterile equipment, and supplies while maintaining strict sterile technique.
- Operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images during procedures.
- Assist with vascular interventions, angiography, biopsies, drain placements, embolizations, and other image-guided procedures.
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Administer and document contrast media in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in Cerner EMR.
