Delval Equipment is actively hiring for an Aftermarket Specialist who is responsible for driving aftermarket sales growth in the DC / NOVA area through the promotion and sale of maintenance services, replacement parts, system upgrades, and retrofit solutions for existing industrial and commercial boiler systems, hydronic equipment, and related controls. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to expand service relationships, , and maximize the value of our installed equipment base. The position requires field-based work with existing clients while collaborating closely with internal service and engineering teams.

Aftermarket Specialist Essential Functions and Responsibilities, and Business Development
- Drive aftermarket growth through maintenance contracts, parts sales, and system upgrades for existing equipment installations
- Conduct technical assessments of installed systems to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, retrofits, and modernization
- Develop and maintain a robust aftermarket pipeline through regular client visits and proactive service relationship building
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for aftermarket services, parts, and upgrade projects
- Prepare and submit proposals for maintenance contracts, system upgrades, and replacement parts packages
- Negotiate service agreements and maintenance contracts while maintaining profit margins
Aftermarket Specialist Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to maximize aftermarket opportunities at government institutions, hospitals, colleges, industrial facilities , and commercial facilities
- Build long-term service partnerships focused on equipment reliability and operational efficiency
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with facility managers and maintenance personnel
- Coordinate with end users on planned maintenance programs and system upgrades
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations with focus on aftermarket solutions
- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the entire aftermarket sales and service process
Aftermarket Specialist Service Business Development
- Promote and sell annual maintenance contracts and comprehensive inspection services
- Identify and develop opportunities for system upgrades, retrofits, and efficiency improvements on existing installations
- Coordinate emergency repair services and ensure rapid response capabilities
- Work with the service team to develop customized maintenance programs for major accounts
- Expand welding repair services, replacement parts inventory, and preventive maintenance offerings
Desired Qualifications
- 1 - 3+ years of sales experience preferably in the HVAC industry
- Understanding of boiler systems, hydronic equipment, and industrial maintenance practices
- Ability to work as part of a team (both leading and following)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Disciplined work ethic with the desire for personal and professional advancement
- Organized with a strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel throughout DC / NOVA Territory on a daily basis (must live within geography).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aftermarket sales, service contracts, or maintenance program development
- Knowledge of boiler and hydronic system maintenance requirements
- Technical background in mechanical systems or facilities management
- Existing relationships with facility managers and maintenance professionals
- Understanding of energy efficiency and system optimization principles
