The UTOPOS Pickleball Society is building a global competitive infrastructure powered by UTOP.
The Global Director of Pickleball is responsible for leading, developing, and expanding all pickleball operations across the UTOPOS ecosystem worldwide. This role oversees national and international tournaments, league structure, player development, strategic partnerships, and the integration of UTOP as the official competition and prize currency.
This position holds executive authority over competitive pickleball operations and is responsible for securing sponsorship revenue, partnerships, and strategic funding to support tournaments, prize pools, and organizational growth. The Global Director ensures the continued expansion, operational excellence, and global legitimacy of the UTOPOS Pickleball Society as a premier competitive organization.
Authority and Leadership
The Global Director of Pickleball has operational authority over tournament structure, competition standards, sponsorship acquisition, and pickleball program development, subject to executive leadership oversight.
This role is responsible for establishing official rules, competitive systems, and sanctioned events under the UTOPOS Pickleball Society, and may recruit and manage regional directors, tournament managers, and operational staff as the organization expands.
The Global Director serves as an official representative of the UTOPOS Pickleball Society in dealings with sponsors, venues, organizations, media, and strategic partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee national and international pickleball tournaments
- Develop official league systems, rankings, divisions, and competitive standards
- Secure sponsorship agreements, brand partnerships, and funding for tournaments and prize pools
- Actively obtain sponsorship revenue from corporations, brands, and strategic partners
- Build relationships with venues, clubs, leagues, and pickleball organizations
- Recruit and manage relationships with professional and amateur players, coaches, and partners
- Oversee tournament operations, scheduling, logistics, staffing, and execution
- Ensure accurate, transparent, and secure prize distribution in UTOP
- Expand UTOPOS Pickleball Society into new cities, states, and international markets
- Establish sanctioned tournaments and certify official competition venues
- Represent UTOPOS Pickleball Society at events, conferences, and public engagements
- Recruit and manage regional and international operational teams as needed
- Build scalable infrastructure to support long-term national and global expansion
Sponsorship and Revenue Development
The Global Director of Pickleball is directly responsible for generating sponsorship revenue and securing financial partnerships to support the growth of the UTOPOS Pickleball Society.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying and securing corporate sponsors
- Negotiating sponsorship agreements
- Developing long-term brand partnerships
- Securing funding for tournaments, prize pools, and league expansion
Performance Objectives
Success in this role is measured by:
- Number of national tournaments launched and successfully executed
- Number of international tournaments and market expansions
- Sponsorship revenue secured
- Growth in player participation and league adoption
- Expansion of partnerships with venues, organizations, and sponsors
- Successful establishment of scalable competitive infrastructure
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to: Executive Leadership, UTOPOS PICKLEBALL SOCIETY
Works collaboratively with leadership, operations, marketing, partnerships, and development teams.
Mission of the Role
To establish and expand a national and international pickleball competition system powered by UTOP, supported by strategic sponsorships, and designed to enable players worldwide to compete, earn, and participate in the UTOPOS economy.
This role is responsible for building the structural foundation of a global competitive pickleball organization and advancing the long-term growth and legitimacy of the UTOPOS Pickleball Society.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience organizing pickleball, tennis, or other competitive sporting events at the regional, national, or international level
- Experience securing sponsorships, partnerships, or business development agreements
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage events and teams
- Ability to build relationships with players, venues, sponsors, and partners
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to operate independently and execute strategic initiatives
- Passion for pickleball and commitment to growing competitive sports ecosystems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a tournament director, league organizer, or sports operations leader
- Existing network within the pickleball community, including players, clubs, sponsors, or organizations
- Experience securing corporate sponsorships or brand partnerships
- Experience launching or scaling sports programs or leagues
- Experience working with professional or amateur sports organizations
- Familiarity with emerging sports technologies, digital platforms, or blockchain-based reward systems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and expand new initiatives

Compensation
This is a performance-based leadership role with compensation directly tied to sponsorship acquisition, tournament success, and organizational growth.
Compensation includes:
- Sponsorship commission: Up to 5% of all sponsorship revenue secured
- Tournament revenue participation: 2.5% of net tournament profits, based on performance
- UTOP token incentives and performance bonuses
- Additional performance-based compensation tied to organizational growth and expansion
