Job Summary
Peaden Electric LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical service work. A license is preferred but not required. This role requires strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to work independently. Candidates should have a solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices. The position involves work on construction sites, including installations, renovations, and maintenance. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical components and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and submittals to ensure accurate installations per NEC and manufacturer guidelines
- Work with electrical systems up to 480V
- Lead and manage small crews to ensure timely, on-budget completion of tasks
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Conduct inspections and identify issues or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with superintendents, project managers, and other trades
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and regulatory codes
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient in low-voltage wiring and electrical installation techniques
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC and relevant local building codes
- Industrial or commercial electrical experience preferred
- Able to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Capable of working independently and in fast-paced construction environments
