Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders accurately and provide exceptional service.
- Operate the POS system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Cash handling experience is essential for managing transactions securely.
- Previous experience in food service or retail is an advantage but not mandatory.
