The ideal candidate will have at least three full time years of verifiable plumbing experience.This role involves delivering engaging hands on curriculum to students while ensuring an effective learning environment. The Instructor will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled professionals in the industry. On the job training to be a teacher is included in the adventure!
Duties
- Develop lesson plans that align with industry standards and educational goals.
- Conduct hands on classroom instruction on plumbing.
- Implement safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations during all instructional activities.
- Assess student performance through tests, practical applications, and project evaluations.
- Provide hands-on training for students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements
- 3 years verifiable experience in plumbing
- Ability to pass a drug test and a Level 2 ACHA background check to obtain an initial teacher’s license.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and Florida plumbing code.
- Ability to learn to effectively teach complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner within a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
