Position Overview: We're seeking a Carrier Sales & Sourcing Representative with excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with carriers. This role will be key in sourcing new carrier partnerships and securing the best rates for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and transportation providers
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and regulations
- Continuously identify and onboard new carriers to expand the company's carrier network
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in carrier sourcing and rate negotiation required
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
