We connect automotive technicians and experienced inspectors with customers who require independent vehicle inspections, including pre-purchase, diagnostic, and post-purchase evaluations.
We are actively expanding our inspector network across the U.S. and are looking for experienced automotive professionals to join our team.
We have an active client in this area that generates between (average) $300-700 weekly. Many of the inspections are performed at the sale location.
What You’ll Do
- Perform vehicle inspections at local dealerships and seller locations
- Conduct mechanical, functional, and visual evaluations
- Complete inspection reports using the CarInspect mobile app
- Take vehicle photos and document findings
- Communicate professionally with dealerships and customers
Most inspections take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years of automotive technician or mechanic experience
- ASE certification ( deal breaker)
- State inspection license preferred where applicable
- Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Tools Required
- OBD2 scanner
- Smartphone with data plan
Job Type
Part-time / Independent Contractor
Work volume varies by region and availability .Most inspections are completed during normal dealership business hours, Monday through Friday.
Pay: $65.00 per hour
