Position Overview
The Transportation Coordinator is the heart of our transportation program, ensuring our members get safely where they need to go—from medical appointments to grocery stores, activities, and special events.
This role also supports daily front desk operations by welcoming members, assisting with registrations, answering phones, and helping keep our center running efficiently.
No two days are exactly alike, making this a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and meaningful work.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
7:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Salary
$48,000–$52,000 annually

What You'll Do
You'll coordinate the daily transportation program by:
- Preparing daily driver schedules for shuttle routes, special trips, and activities
- Coordinating vehicle assignments and driver check-ins
- Maintaining accurate rider records and transportation documentation
- Tracking ride statistics, vehicle mileage, and transportation reports
- Maintaining transportation data in Schedules Plus and EmpowOR
- Preparing monthly reports for Douglas County and the Town of Castle Rock
- Supporting vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and cleanliness
- Working with our Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and support volunteer drivers
- Ensuring compliance with grant-funded transportation requirements
- Representing CRSAC at Douglas County Transit Solution Provider and DRMAC meetings
- Providing outstanding front desk customer service, including activity registrations, payments, and answering phones
- Assisting with community outreach events
- Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's Degree
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Previous office or receptionist experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred:
- Two or more years of office experience
- Experience with databases such as Schedules Plus or EmpowOR
- Experience working in nonprofit or volunteer-based organizations
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and data entry
Physical Requirements
- Ability to drive passenger vans (training provided)
- Ability to operate wheelchair securement equipment (training provided)
- Lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move between indoor and outdoor work locations
- Clear verbal communication in person, by phone, and via radio
- Ability to read written materials and assess surroundings
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
