Overview
We are looking to continue building our current team as Prova's business is consistently growing! We are primarily a breakfast and lunch cafe/restaurant located at the heart of downtown Buffalo, serving the many businesses and residents of the area. We feature attractive scheduling, as we generally only operate Monday through Friday from 7:30AM until 6PM, though may expand if we find the right fits for our team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings that enhance their experience
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in fine dining settings or hospitality industry environments that demand high standards of service
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, beverage presentation standards, and restaurant or banquet experience
