American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU/Step Down experience and active KY or Compact RN licensure.

13-week travel contract in a hospital step down (PCU) unit
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating across a 36/48-hour biweekly schedule

Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4–5

Every other weekend required

Floating required within scope of practice

Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Active RN license — KY state or Compact license required

Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required

Minimum 2 years of PCU/Step Down RN experience required

Valid Driver's License required for consideration

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Orientation is held on a biweekly schedule
