Duties
- Assist the Daycare Director in overseeing daily operations of the center, including staff coordination and program delivery
- Support classroom management and ensure adherence to early childhood education best practices
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on curriculum development and behavior management strategies
- Help implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and learning readiness
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols
- Collaborate with parents to communicate children’s progress and address any concerns or special needs
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, incident reports, and licensing requirements
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Ability to lead and motivate staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of childcare licensing standards and health & safety regulations

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
