American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care Magnet-designated hospital in Orange, CA.

Acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 426 staffed beds
-
Nuclear Medicine department, including PET scan imaging
-
5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
No weekend or holiday shifts required
-
Optional call shifts available for interested candidates: M–F 4:30 AM–10:00 PM and Sat–Sun 6:00 AM–10:00 PM with a 60-minute response time

Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state

Charting performed in Epic (experience required)

Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required

Current BLS required
-
NMTCB or ARRT certification required

Active CA state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)

Epic EMR experience required

First-time travelers will not be considered

A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

PET scan experience is preferred; on-site training is available for qualified candidates

Orientation shifts are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, likely for the first two weeks

Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated

RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; minimal RTO is preferred
-
Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
-
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility should inquire about local pay rates

Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility if they were previously employed there as permanent staff
