Personnel Placements, LLC is seeking an experienced forklift operator for a vinyl and flooring manufacturing facility in Olive Branch, MS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift and be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Job Duties:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport materials within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Load and unload trucks, stack and organize products, and move materials to designated areas.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and product damage.
- Work with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Experience operating the sit-down forklift
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and calculations.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
