Position Description:
About the Role
DACUT Cannabis is seeking an experienced, high-performing Online Order Fulfillment Manager to lead one of the highest-volume online cannabis fulfillment operations in Michigan.
This is not a traditional dispensary management position. We are looking for a proven operations leader who has successfully managed high-volume online order fulfillment in environments such as Target Drive Up, Walmart Pickup, Kroger Pickup, Meijer Pickup, Amazon, grocery fulfillment, e-commerce distribution, or other high-volume retail fulfillment operations.
Our New Buffalo location processes an extremely high volume of online orders every day. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, speed, inventory accuracy, labor management, and the ability to build systems that consistently deliver fast, accurate orders without sacrificing quality or customer experience.
Cannabis experience is preferred but not required. We will teach you our products, compliance requirements, and industry. What we cannot teach is how to build and lead a world-class fulfillment operation.
Essential Responsibilities
Fulfillment Operations

Lead all daily online order fulfillment operations from order receipt through customer pickup.

Ensure online orders are fulfilled quickly, accurately, and efficiently.

Develop workflows that maximize speed while maintaining exceptional order accuracy.

Continuously improve fulfillment processes to reduce order times and increase operational efficiency.

Monitor fulfillment metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, train, coach, and develop Fulfillment Associates and Team Leads.

Build a culture focused on speed, accuracy, accountability, and customer service.
-
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and ongoing development.
-
Schedule labor effectively to support fluctuating online order volume.
-
Maintain high employee engagement and accountability.
Inventory Accuracy
-
Maintain exceptional inventory accuracy throughout the fulfillment process.
-
Ensure products are picked, staged, and completed correctly.

Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
-
Partner with Inventory and Compliance teams to maintain accurate product availability.

Support cycle counts and inventory audits.
Customer Experience

Deliver an exceptional online ordering experience from order placement through pickup.

Monitor fulfillment times and customer wait times.
-
Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
-
Ensure every order meets company quality standards before reaching the customer.

Continuously improve customer satisfaction metrics.
Operational Performance

Analyze operational data and recommend improvements.

Develop systems that improve throughput while maintaining quality.
Monitor daily KPIs including:

Order accuracy

Average fulfillment time

Customer wait time

Orders completed per labor hour

Productivity

Inventory accuracy
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Retail Leadership, Inventory, Purchasing, Compliance, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.

Coordinate product availability and promotional execution.

Ensure fulfillment operations support overall store performance.

Assist with process improvements across departments.
Qualifications
Required
-
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in high-volume online order fulfillment, e-commerce, retail fulfillment, warehouse operations, or omnichannel retail.

Experience leading teams in fast-paced fulfillment environments.

Demonstrated success managing large daily order volumes.

Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
-
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
-
Strong inventory management experience.
-
Ability to make decisions quickly while maintaining accuracy.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain all required state cannabis credentials.
Preferred
-
Experience with Target Drive Up, Walmart Pickup, Meijer Pickup, Kroger Pickup, Amazon Fulfillment, Instacart, Shipt, or similar high-volume fulfillment operations.

Experience managing omnichannel retail fulfillment.

Cannabis industry experience.

Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, and workforce management software.

Experience in highly regulated retail or distribution environments.
