FULL TIME MEMORY CARE LIFESTYLE ASSISTANT
The Legacy at Highwoods Preserve in Tampa, Florida is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Assistant to join our team in providing engaging and meaningful activities for our memory care residents. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our community.
Duties:
- Plan and facilitate activities that cater to the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents
- Assist in organizing events, outings, and programs to enhance residents' quality of life
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities meet individual needs
- Provide memory care and dementia care support during activities and meals
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to create a supportive environment for residents
- Manage schedules and maintain documentation related to activities
- Additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Experience in memory care, assisted living, or related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with seniors
- Knowledge of recreational therapy principles and aging issues counseling
- Ability to plan and execute engaging events and activities
- Proficient in schedule management and organizational tasks
