We are currently hiring for a Waterjet Operator level I. This position reports to the shop floor supervisor and is an integral piece in the job processing pipeline. This position does not require a college degree. Anyone with an aptitude for detailed work and a strong work ethic can perform these responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Interpreting engineering drawings for machine setup
- Performing machine calibrations per-job
- Fixturing and securing material
- Training in machine operation and maintenance
- Understanding machine routing files
- Working with CAD Engineers in office to successfully manufacture product
- Maintaining machine and work area cleanliness
Skills Preferred:
- Machine tool experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing services industry
- Understanding of normal machine tool tolerancing and secondary operations
Any and all skill levels can be trained to operate one of our Omax machines.
